Dara Donovan is a photo stylist and art director living and working in the Bay Area and Los Angeles, California.

Born and raised in Santa Monica, California, I’m drawn to light, beauty, and the subtle details that make a space or image feel alive. With over 15 years of experience as a stylist and art director, I bring that sensibility to every project—shaping visual narratives that are both elevated and deeply inviting.

My work spans interiors, lifestyle, and product styling, with clients including GOOP, Williams Sonoma, RH, Serena & Lily, West Elm, and Quince. I approach each collaboration with a refined eye, a strategic mindset, and a deep love for photography and visual storytelling.

I also founded and led Paloma Home, a boutique staging and interior design studio where I oversaw all creative direction for six years. Our work was featured in Elle Decor, Dwell, and The New York Times, recognized for its layered, lived-in style and editorial point of view.

Today, I partner with brands to craft compelling, cohesive imagery across campaigns, shoots, and content. Whether building out a visual concept or refining the smallest detail on set, I bring clarity, consistency, and creative direction rooted in beauty and purpose.
